I'm a news junkie and if I can't watch it live I'll record it and watch it later. As much as I like to watch the news I usually turn off when they start the financial section, money markets etc. If I can reach a point where I can understand what they're saying as well as I understand the TAB channel I'll be happy.
Totally agree with you here, Hemi. Have no idea what the financial section of the news is about and therefore click the channel over until the sports news is on. Hopefully after this course I'll understand what is going on and be able to keep up with the play!
I've got to confess that I read the sports pages in the newspaper before I read the business news - got to get your priorities right!
I find I'm clicking over out of habit and then going back - totally pisses my flatmates off.
